About Me
I was adopted from Russia, and grew up in the greater Washington D.C. area. I obtained my Master of Social Work at the University of Minnesota. I have been passionate about becoming a Social Worker for years. I engaged in community service work in high school, and social justice driven trips and volunteering throughout my undergraduate career. I am deeply passionate about the intersection of social justice and mental health, and for this reason my goal is to support as many people as possible in the most accessible way possible.
Outside of work I enjoy playing disc golf, table tennis, and softball. I also enjoy writing, and playing both ukulele and guitar. I love hiking and exploring new places, and especially finding a beautiful view with a lake and some mountains. Taking care of myself is as important as my approach in my work, and with in myself. So, balance with supporting others and taking care of myself is integral in how I carry myself every day.
